Bitcoin, la moneda que está cambiando el mundo.





Bitcoin es una moneda, como el euro o el dólar estadounidense, que sirve para intercambiar bienes y servicios. Sin embargo, a diferencia de otras monedas, Bitcoin es una divisa electrónica que presenta novedosas características y destaca por su eficiencia, seguridad y facilidad de intercambio.

Su mayor diferencia frente al resto de monedas, se trata de una moneda descentralizada, por lo que nadie la controla. Bitcoin no tiene un emisor central como los dólares o los euros, la criptomoneda es producida por las personas y empresas de alrededor del mundo dedicando gran cantidad de recursos a la minería.

Beneficios y ventajas de Bitcoin
En la actualidad, es la moneda digital más usada de todo el mundo y hay buenas razones por las cuales se está haciendo cada vez más popular. Tanto usuarios particulares como vendedores y propietarios de negocios encuentran en Bitcoin importantes ventajas que les han llevado a adoptar este sistema.

El dinero te pertenece al 100%; no puede ser intervenido por nadie ni las cuentas pueden ser congeladas.

Ello incluye: Comisiones por transferencia bancaria, comisiones por aceptar o usar tarjetas de crédito o débito, comisiones por usar servicios de “envío de dinero” o comisiones por usar servicios de “pago online”.

En Bitcoin no hay intermediarios y el dinero pasa directamente de persona a persona: de comprador a vendedor o de particular a particular. Esto reduce el precio de enviar dinero sustancialmente y permite también vender productos y servicios a un precio más justo.

El precio de Bitcoin se dispara tras una compra repartida en tres intercambios






Por primera vez en 2019, el precio de Bitcoin ha rebasado los 5.000 dólares este martes después de una compra repartida en tres plataformas de intercambio.

Tras haber estado la mayoría de 2018 en declive, el precio de Bitcoin (BTC) ha rebasado este martes los 5.000 dólares estadounidenses por primera vez en lo que va de 2019. La criptomoneda no había superado esa cifra desde mediados de noviembre pasado.


De acuerdo con Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie, director ejecutivo de la firma de criptomonedas BCB Group, este repentino incremento se ha producido tras un pedido de aproximadamente 100 millones de dólares, repartidos en tres intercambios estadounidenses: Coinbase, Kraken y Bitstamp de Luxemburgo.


"Ha habido un solo pedido que ha sido administrado algorítmicamente en estos tres lugares, de alrededor de 20.000 BTC", explicó el CEO explicó, según recoge Reuters, y agregó:

Si uno mira los volúmenes en cada uno de esos tres intercambios, hubo unidades de volumen sincronizadas de unos 7.000 BTC en alrededor de una hora.

Tras este disparo, el precio de Bitcoin se ha estabilizado. Al momento de esta publicación, el costo de BTC es de 4.928,19 USD, según CoinMarketCap.



La manipulación de Bitcoin no es un tema nuevo. Un estudio publicado por la Universidad de Texas a mediados de 2018 encontró evidencia de que Tether pudo haber sido usada para manipular el aumento del precio de BTC y otras criptodivisas durante 2017, cuando BTC alcanzó un máximo histórico de 19.000 dólares en diciembre.

Por otro lado, en enero de 2018, un grupo de investigadores publicó un artículo sobre la manipulación del precio de Bitcoin. En su análisis sobre el aumento de precio de BTC de 150 a más de 1.000 dólares a finales de 2013 apuntan como posible motivo a ciertas operaciones sospechosas en el sitio de compra-venta Mt. Gox.
